My name is Oliver McVey. I am a Freelance Web Designer and Digital Creative from Guernsey and I love design! I design and develop websites that are beautiful to look at, easy to use and a snap to find!
I have been designing websites for the past three years. I spent two of these years getting a taste of web agency life before I decided to start Qpid and bring Guernsey into the current era of web. Like many designers I am a complete and utter Apple, Mac and iPhone addict. I am also a dab hand with the Adobe Creative Suite and my particular weapons of choice are Photoshop and Illustrator. I am also a self confessed Tweetaholic and Twitter has quickly become something that I definately dont think I could work without.
So why Qpid? I love all things web and design but at the heart of my business is the client. I truely believe in transparency and delivering fantastic, fresh and innovative web solutions, products and services that the client needs and at a fair cost. For me working in web today is all about collaboration and providing the client with an honest, professional and friendly service.
At Qpid I relish the opportunity of working with local people, clients and teams delivering high quality, beautiful looking online solutions whether it be a small business website or a fully fledged e-commerce shop.
